Thomas E. Biddix

Founder & CEO, Monarch MVP, LLC

Tom Biddix is the founder and chief executive of Monarch MVP, LLC. A Florida-based entrepreneur with more than 25 years of building products and companies, he has a long track record of identifying a real-world need, engineering a practical product to meet it, and growing a durable business around it.

A history of building

Early in his career, Tom helped create some of the first prepaid handsets in the United States, founding Prepaid Solutions and partnering with Sprint/LG and later Virgin Mobile to bring affordable wireless to consumers who were underserved by traditional carriers. After September 11th, he acquired Unifold and pivoted it into decontamination shelters, becoming a top supplier of decontamination equipment across the United States and Canada — a business later acquired by Ferno. In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, he invented the Paraslyde, an emergency patient-movement device later acquired by Stryker.

Monarch MVP today

Today, Tom leads Monarch MVP, LLC as an integrated operating platform — building companies that are worth more together than apart. The platform spans healthcare technology and remote patient monitoring, multi-specialty telehealth, connected medical devices, and a carrier-grade software platform. Beyond Monarch MVP, he is also building Sunwave, a premium consumer sun-care brand.
